Zainab is a PhD candidate at the Department of Anthropology at Rutgers University. She was previously a Teaching Fellow at the Lahore University of Management and Sciences (LUMS) after completing her double Masters in Gender and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the Central European University (CEU) in Hungary. Her research interests are gender, migration and displacement, digital and social activism, and postcolonial world-making with a regional focus on South Asia.
